Bright new learning environment for Sunderland school with LED lighting

With the use of energy efficient LED lighting from Airis Energy UK, Eppleton Academy’s carbon output has been reduced by over 6,000kg per annum.

Eppleton is a friendly Academy with caring and supportive staff who pride themselves on providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment for children to foster high aspirations and develop learning for life.

Teaching environmental responsibility is an important part of that learning process and as such, is also high on their own agenda. And with electricity prices rising significantly, there is an additional need to reduce costs wherever possible.

LED lighting not only cuts ongoing costs, it also offers superior lighting quality for a learning environment, hence why Eppleton contracted Airis.
