Lighting refit for 27 retail branches of car parts and tools chain

Work completed on an LED lighting refit on the first of 27 branches across London, the East of England and beyond, offering significant financial savings and CO2 reduction for the business.

Background

Bennett’s is a family owned business, established in 1954 by the current director’s grandfather.

Their principal business is rooted within the automotive industry, satisfying the demand for car parts and tools to both trade and public, garages, main dealers, performance specialists and individual vehicle specialists.

With 27 branches in the UK, the company were looking to increase energy efficiency across all sites.

Annual Savings

Beginning with the location of their head office in Welwyn Garden City, we completed a refit and the fantastic result in improved lighting quality, as well as the impressive projected future savings, secured Airis Energy Solutions’ partnership with Bennett’s, with the rest of the branches scheduled for a 2020 refit.

Fittings Used

In addition to the use of Airis Exilis smart lighting panels in the main shop and offices, the following LED fittings were installed:

80 watt high bays

Baton fittings with 24 watt tubes

50 watt floodlights

12 watt downlights

Zero Capital Expenditure

The whole project is being delivered under our zero capital expenditure scheme, allowing the business to reap the benefits of high quality energy efficient lighting without the capital costs of installation.
